I had my pap smear done today and the doctor left the exam room. When she left, I saw the Q-tip and another plastic palet in line saline water, ready to be discharged but I am worried because the Q’tip had like blood in it. Is this normal? Or when they take the sample it is usually clean

yep somtimes there can be a little blood.. no big deal
since they’re scraping cells off your cervix to do a PAP smear, yes there can be blood.
